  • Hand removal of leaves, pine needles, and debris
  • All downspouts flushed and confirmed flowing
  • Debris bagged and hauled away
  • Inspection notes on sags, leaks, or fascia damage
  • Optional gutter guard quote after cleaning

WHY US

Why Treasure Valley homeowners choose us.

Prevent overflow during fall and spring storms

Catch sagging or leaking sections before they get worse

Reduce ice dam risk in winter

OUR PROCESS

How we do gutter cleaning.

  1. Set up safe access

Ladders are positioned on stable ground with stabilizer arms to avoid damaging gutters or shingles. Two-story homes and complex rooflines get the appropriate access equipment from the start.

  2. Hand removal of debris

Every section is hand-cleared of leaves, pine needles, seed pods, twigs, and roof grit. We don't blow debris out (it scatters across your yard and roof) or pressure-wash (water pushes clogs deeper into downspouts).

  3. Downspout flush and clog clearance

Each downspout is flushed with a hose to confirm flow. Any partial clogs in the elbow or vertical run are cleared with a snake or by disassembling the downspout if needed.

  4. Inspection and notes

We check for sagging sections, sealant failures, fascia rot, and any hanger or fastener issues. You get a written summary so you know what to monitor before the next season.

  5. Bag, haul, and walkthrough

All debris is bagged and removed from the property. We walk the job with you, point out anything worth knowing, and leave the yard cleaner than we found it.

CHOOSING A CONTRACTOR

What to ask any gutter cleaning contractor.

These are the questions we’d ask if we were hiring someone for our own home. A legitimate contractor answers all of them without hesitation.

Questions to ask

  1. Do you hand-clean or leaf-blow / pressure-wash? (Hand-clean is the right answer.)
  2. Is the downspout flush included, and how do you confirm flow?
  3. Will you bag and haul the debris away, or leave it bagged for me?
  4. Do I get written inspection notes after the cleaning?
  5. How do you handle second-story access on my home?
  6. Is there a discount if I schedule recurring (spring + fall) cleanings?

Red flags to watch for

  • Pressure-washing the gutter instead of hand-cleaning — pushes debris deeper into downspouts.
  • Leaf-blowing debris out instead of bagging — scatters it across roof, fascia, and yard.
  • No downspout flush at the end of the visit (the most common source of post-cleaning callbacks).
  • No inspection notes — you should know what they saw up there.
  • Quote dramatically lower than competitors — usually means they're skipping the downspout flush.

WHY PROFESSIONAL

Why professional gutter cleaning pays off.

DIY gutter cleaning is genuinely doable for single-story homes if you're comfortable on a ladder. The two failure modes that show up on calls afterward: skipping the downspout flush (so the clog just relocates), and not noticing fascia or hanger issues that turn into bigger problems. We charge for the access equipment, the haul-away, and the inspection — and we'll tell you when guard installation makes more long-term sense than recurring cleanings.

Frequently asked questions

How often should gutters be cleaned in Boise?
Most Treasure Valley homes need two cleanings per year — once in late spring after seed pods drop, and once in late fall after deciduous leaves are down. Homes under pines often need a third pass.
Do you bag and haul away the debris?
Yes. We bag everything and remove it from the property. You'll come home to clean gutters and a clean yard.
Can I just install gutter guards instead?
For many homes, yes — that's why we offer cleaning and guard quotes together. After cleaning, we can show you the debris pattern and recommend whether guards make sense for your specific home.
How much does gutter cleaning cost?
Most single-story Treasure Valley gutter cleanings fall in the $175–$425 per-visit range, with $250 typical. Multi-story homes and complex rooflines cost more due to access. Our cost calculator gives a quick range; the on-site visit confirms the number after we see the actual roofline.
Do you clean second-story gutters?
Yes. We carry the ladders, stabilizers, and fall protection needed for two-story and walkout-basement homes. Some custom-home rooflines require a crew of two for safe access — we factor that into the quote.
What's included in the inspection notes?
While we're up there cleaning, we check for sagging sections, leaks at miters and end caps, pulled hangers, fascia rot, and downspout flow. You get a written summary so you know what to address before the next storm — repair on the spot, schedule it later, or just monitor it.
