Licensed Idaho Contractor

GENERAL

General questions about working with us.

Service area, licensing, scheduling, and what every estimate includes.

What areas do you serve in the Treasure Valley?
We serve 14 cities across Ada, Canyon, Gem, and Elmore counties — Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Garden City, Hidden Springs, Southeast Boise, West Boise, Middleton, Emmett, and Mountain Home. If you're not sure whether your address is in our service area, call (208) 247-2660 and we'll confirm.
Are you licensed and insured in Idaho?
Yes. Boise Gutter Guards is a licensed Idaho Registered Contractor (RCE-6681702) and carries general liability insurance. We can provide proof of insurance before any work starts.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes — every estimate is free and includes an on-site measurement of your gutters, an inspection of fascia and downspouts, and a written quote with no obligation.
How soon can you get out for an estimate?
Most estimates are scheduled within a few business days. Call (208) 247-2660 or send a quote request through our contact form and we'll confirm timing.
Do you stand behind your work?
Yes. We back our installations with a workmanship warranty in addition to the manufacturer's product warranty on materials. Specifics are listed on the written estimate.
What gutter profiles and materials do you install?
We install 5-inch and 6-inch K-style seamless aluminum gutters as our standard, plus half-round profiles for craftsman and historic homes and solid copper gutters with soldered seams for high-end custom projects. Aluminum is right for the majority of Treasure Valley homes; copper and half-round are profile-specific choices we'll explain at the estimate.
How long does a typical gutter installation take?
Most single-story Treasure Valley homes are measured, formed on-site, and installed in a single day. Two-story and complex hip rooflines take one to two days depending on linear footage and access. Repairs and cleanings are typically same-visit.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing options for new gutter installations so a full system replacement doesn't have to wait. Details are on the financing page, and we'll review available terms during the estimate.
What time of year is best for gutter work in Idaho?
Installation and guard work happens year-round in the Treasure Valley, but late spring through early fall is the most efficient window — after seed-pod season ends and before deciduous leaves drop. Repair and cleaning calls are commonly scheduled in fall (before winter ice load) and early spring (after the freeze-thaw cycle exposes sealant failures).
Do you handle insurance claims for storm or hail damage?
Yes. We produce written damage assessments, photo documentation, and itemized estimates your insurance adjuster needs to process a claim. Treasure Valley wind events and summer hailstorms regularly damage gutters and downspouts — we'll walk you through the documentation process.

Gutter Guard Installation

Questions specific to gutter guards in the Treasure Valley.

Full gutter guardspage →

How much do gutter guards cost in the Treasure Valley?
Most gutter guard installations in Boise and the Treasure Valley fall in the $8–$20 per linear foot range, with $12 per linear foot typical. The variables that move the number: total linear footage, single vs. multi-story access, existing gutter condition (clean vs. needs reseal first), and the guard system selected. Our cost calculator gives a quick range; we provide a written quote on-site with no obligation.
Do gutter guards really work on pine needles?
Yes — micro-mesh systems specifically address pine needles, which are the most common Treasure Valley gutter clog. We confirm pine and fir coverage during the on-site visit and quote the appropriate mesh.
Will gutter guards handle Boise snow and ice?
Properly installed gutter guards reduce ice dam risk because debris-free gutters drain meltwater faster. We pitch and reinforce gutters before installing guards to keep cold-weather performance reliable.
Do you remove old gutter guards or screens?
Yes. We remove failing or off-the-shelf screens, clean and reseal the gutter, and then install a properly sized system.
Will gutter guards damage my roof shingles?
No. We install gutter guards that clip into the front of the gutter or under the first row of shingles in a non-invasive way — never lifted or nailed through the roof. Manufacturer warranties on shingles remain intact.
What's the best time of year to install gutter guards in Idaho?
Most homeowners install in late spring through early fall, after seed-pod season ends and before deciduous leaves drop. Installing before fall lets the guards prevent the heaviest debris load of the year. Winter installs are possible on most homes.

Gutter Installation & Replacement

Questions specific to gutter installation in the Treasure Valley.

Full gutter installationpage →

How much does gutter installation cost in the Treasure Valley?
Most seamless aluminum gutter installations in Boise and the Treasure Valley fall in the $10–$22 per linear foot range, with $14 per linear foot typical. Variables that move the number: profile choice (5-inch K-style is standard; 6-inch K-style and half-round cost more), single vs. multi-story access, downspout count and sizing, and color matching. Our cost calculator gives a quick range; we give you a written itemized quote on-site.
How long does gutter replacement take?
Most single-story Treasure Valley homes are completed in one day. Two-story and complex rooflines take one to two days depending on access.
Do you do 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
We install both. 5-inch K-style is standard for most homes. 6-inch is recommended for homes with larger roof areas, steep pitches, or heavy pine debris.
Can you add gutter guards during installation?
Yes — combining new gutters with guards in one visit saves a separate trip and ensures the entire system is sized as one.
What colors are available?
We carry a full palette of baked-on enamel colors so we can match fascia, trim, or roof. Color samples are reviewed on-site during the estimate.
What's the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?
Seamless gutters are formed on-site in one continuous length per run, with joints only at corners and downspouts — far fewer leak points than sectional gutters (sold in 10-foot pieces at home stores), which leak at every seam over time. Every gutter we install is seamless.
Do you handle gutter installation on new construction?
Yes. We coordinate with builders and homeowners on new-construction installs, including pre-paint color coordination and downspout routing planned around foundation drainage.

Gutter Repair

Questions specific to gutter repair in the Treasure Valley.

Full gutter repairpage →

Should I repair or replace my gutters?
If the gutters are aluminum, hold their shape, and only have isolated leaks or sags, repair is almost always the right call. If the metal is corroded, sectional joints leak in multiple places, or the system is undersized for the roof, replacement saves money long-term. We give a straight answer at the estimate.
How much does gutter repair cost?
Most gutter repairs in the Treasure Valley fall in the $200–$900 per-visit range, with $450 typical for an isolated repair (resealing a corner, re-hanging a sagged section, or replacing a downspout). Larger multi-area repairs cost more and are quoted on-site after we identify all the problem areas. Our cost calculator gives a quick range; we give you a written quote on-site.
Do you repair downspouts that drain into the foundation?
Yes — we re-route downspouts, add extensions, and tie into underground drains when present. Proper downspout routing is one of the most common foundation-water fixes.
Can you fix gutters that have pulled away from the house?
Yes. We pull failed nails or stripped hangers, inspect the fascia for rot, install hidden-hanger screws into solid material, and re-set the section level with proper pitch. If the fascia is too damaged to hold a new fastener, we say so before quoting.
Are seam leaks repairable or do I need new gutters?
On seamless gutter systems, leaks only happen at corners, end caps, or downspout outlets — and all of those are resealable with proper butyl sealant. On older sectional systems, multiple seam leaks usually mean the joint sealant has failed across the system, and replacement becomes more economical than chasing each joint.
Do you offer same-week service for active leaks?
We try to get to active-leak calls within a few business days. Call (208) 247-2660 with a brief description and we'll confirm timing.

Gutter Cleaning

Questions specific to gutter cleaning in the Treasure Valley.

Full gutter cleaningpage →

How often should gutters be cleaned in Boise?
Most Treasure Valley homes need two cleanings per year — once in late spring after seed pods drop, and once in late fall after deciduous leaves are down. Homes under pines often need a third pass.
Do you bag and haul away the debris?
Yes. We bag everything and remove it from the property. You'll come home to clean gutters and a clean yard.
Can I just install gutter guards instead?
For many homes, yes — that's why we offer cleaning and guard quotes together. After cleaning, we can show you the debris pattern and recommend whether guards make sense for your specific home.
How much does gutter cleaning cost?
Most single-story Treasure Valley gutter cleanings fall in the $175–$425 per-visit range, with $250 typical. Multi-story homes and complex rooflines cost more due to access. Our cost calculator gives a quick range; the on-site visit confirms the number after we see the actual roofline.
Do you clean second-story gutters?
Yes. We carry the ladders, stabilizers, and fall protection needed for two-story and walkout-basement homes. Some custom-home rooflines require a crew of two for safe access — we factor that into the quote.
What's included in the inspection notes?
While we're up there cleaning, we check for sagging sections, leaks at miters and end caps, pulled hangers, fascia rot, and downspout flow. You get a written summary so you know what to address before the next storm — repair on the spot, schedule it later, or just monitor it.

SERVICE

Seamless Gutter Installation

Questions specific to seamless gutters in the Treasure Valley.

Full seamless gutterspage →

What makes seamless gutters better than sectional gutters?
Sectional gutters are sold in 10-foot pieces and joined with slip connectors sealed with caulk. That caulk breaks down faster than the aluminum itself — in Idaho, freeze-thaw cycles accelerate the failure. A seamless gutter run has zero joints across the flat span; the only seams are at corners and downspout outlets, which are sealed with heavy-duty butyl sealant. Less to fail, fewer callbacks, longer service life.
How much do seamless gutters cost in the Treasure Valley?
Most seamless aluminum gutter installations fall in a per-linear-foot range that accounts for profile choice, story count, downspout sizing, and whether existing gutters need removal first. Our cost calculator gives you a quick ranged estimate; we provide a written itemized quote on-site after measuring your actual runs.
How long does a seamless gutter installation take?
Most single-story Treasure Valley homes are measured, formed, and installed in a single day. Two-story homes and complex hip rooflines typically take one to two days depending on linear footage and access.
What profile should I get — 5-inch or 6-inch?
Five-inch K-style is standard for most homes and handles typical Treasure Valley rainfall. Six-inch is recommended when the roof area draining into a single run is large, when the pitch is steep, or when heavy pine debris in the Foothills or North End creates load spikes in the gutter. The right size depends on the actual roof drainage area — we confirm that at the estimate before quoting.
Can you match the color to my existing fascia or trim?
Yes. We carry a full baked-on enamel palette. During the estimate we hold color samples against your fascia and trim and confirm the match before ordering. Custom color matches are available on longer lead times.
Do you add gutter guards at the same time?
Yes, and combining the two visits is the most efficient approach — the gutter is clean, the pitch is confirmed, and guards go on a properly sized system. Ask about bundling during the estimate.
Are seamless gutters available in materials other than aluminum?
Seamless forming machines work primarily with aluminum coil stock. Copper gutters are also fabricated in long sections but are soldered rather than machine-formed — we handle those as a separate service. Steel seamless is available but uncommon in Idaho because aluminum handles freeze-thaw without rusting.

SERVICE

Copper Gutter Installation

Questions specific to copper gutters in the Treasure Valley.

Full copper gutterspage →

How much do copper gutters cost compared to aluminum?
Copper gutter installations typically run 3 to 5 times the cost of a comparable aluminum seamless system. The premium reflects the material cost of copper sheet, the skilled soldering labor required at every joint, and the longer fabrication time. If you're comparing quotes, make sure you're comparing soldered copper to soldered copper — some contractors use copper-coated aluminum, which looks similar initially but doesn't develop the same patina or last as long.
Will copper gutters stain my siding or masonry?
Yes — copper runoff produces a blue-green stain on lighter masonry, painted siding, and concrete. This is the most important installation planning consideration for copper. We account for it in downspout routing and splash block placement during the design consultation, and we discuss the tradeoffs with you before installation begins on any home with light-colored masonry or stucco.
How long until copper gutters develop the patina?
In Treasure Valley conditions — moderate humidity, winter freeze-thaw, dry summers — you'll see the initial darkening within the first year and a partial patina within two to three years. Full blue-green patina typically takes four to seven years in Idaho's semi-arid climate. Some homeowners apply a patina accelerant to speed this up; we can discuss that option at the estimate.
Do copper gutters need maintenance?
They need the same basic maintenance as any gutter: cleaning out pine needles and debris and confirming downspout flow. The difference is there's nothing to paint, re-coat, or reseal at joints — soldered joints don't fail the way caulked aluminum joints do. A micro-mesh guard system reduces the cleaning frequency significantly.
Can copper gutters be installed on any home?
Technically yes, but copper is most appropriate on custom homes, craftsman bungalows, and historic properties where the aesthetic investment lines up with the home's style. We'll give you a straight answer at the estimate about whether copper makes sense for your home, or whether aluminum will look right and free up budget for elsewhere.
What's the difference between 16oz and 20oz copper?
The weight describes thickness per square foot. 16oz copper is standard for residential gutters and handles typical roof loads and debris. 20oz is heavier-gauge, used on wider profiles, longer unsupported spans, and premium custom projects where extra rigidity matters. For most homes, 16oz is the correct specification.
Can you mix copper gutters with existing aluminum downspouts?
We don't recommend it. Copper and aluminum in direct contact cause galvanic corrosion — the aluminum degrades at the contact point. A properly installed copper system uses copper downspouts with copper hangers throughout. Mixing metals is a common shortcut that creates maintenance problems within a few years.

SERVICE

Half-Round Gutter Installation

Questions specific to half-round gutters in the Treasure Valley.

Full half-round gutterspage →

What homes are half-round gutters appropriate for?
Half-round is the historically correct profile for homes built before approximately 1950 — bungalows, craftsman, colonial revival, and Tudor styles common in Boise's North End, Caldwell's downtown core, and older Nampa neighborhoods. It also works well on newer custom craftsman builds that reference those periods. If your existing gutters are K-style and the home reads as a craftsman or historic style, replacing with half-round is likely to look noticeably better.
How does half-round compare to K-style for drainage?
Half-round and K-style drain similarly for standard rain loads. The practical difference is debris shedding: K-style has a sharp inside corner at the bottom where pine needles, seed pods, and cottonwood flock accumulate and mat. The curved interior of a half-round profile sheds debris to the downspout more cleanly. Not dramatically, but enough to matter in high-pine or high-cottonwood yards.
Are half-round gutters available in aluminum?
Yes. We install aluminum half-round in .027 and .032 gauge, available in the same baked-on enamel palette as our K-style aluminum. Aluminum half-round is the cost-effective choice when the profile matters but a full copper system isn't in budget.
Do half-round gutters use different hangers than K-style?
Yes. Half-round gutters use fascia brackets or round-profile-specific hangers rather than the hidden hangers designed for K-style. Using K-style hardware on a half-round gutter is a common mistake — it doesn't seat correctly and creates sag points over time. We use the correct hanger for each profile.
What downspouts pair with half-round gutters?
Round corrugated downspouts are the standard and historically appropriate match for half-round gutters. They're available in aluminum and copper and maintain the rounded aesthetic of the gutter profile. We size the downspout diameter to the roof area it drains — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Can gutter guards be installed on half-round gutters?
Yes, but the guard system must be specified for round profiles — standard K-style micro-mesh won't seat correctly in a half-round. We stock guards designed for half-round profiles in both aluminum and copper systems.

Ice Dam Prevention

Questions specific to ice dam prevention in the Treasure Valley.

Full ice dam preventionpage →

What causes ice dams in the Treasure Valley?
Ice dams are primarily a heat-loss problem that shows up at the gutter. Warm air escapes your living space into the attic, heats the roof deck, and melts snow. That meltwater runs down to the cold overhang — which isn't heated by the house — and refreezes. The resulting ice block forces subsequent meltwater to back up under shingles. Homes with inadequate attic insulation, north-facing rooflines, or blocked gutters that can't drain meltwater quickly are the most common candidates in this area.
Do heat cables actually work?
Self-regulating heat cable works well as part of a complete approach — it keeps the meltwater drain path open through the gutter and downspout even when temperatures are below freezing. It does not address the root cause of heat loss from the attic, which is why we pair it with a drainage audit and a frank conversation about insulation when that's the real issue. Heat cable alone on a debris-clogged gutter is money spent on a bandage.
Which homes in Boise are most at risk for ice dams?
North-facing roof runs that stay shaded most of the day are the highest risk — the overhang doesn't warm up enough to let meltwater move through. Homes in the Foothills, heavily treed lots in the North End, and properties at elevation in Eagle or Star see this most. Homes with low attic insulation (common in pre-1980 construction) are also high risk regardless of exposure.
Should I fix my gutters or my attic insulation first?
Both, ideally — but they address different parts of the problem. Gutter drainage work prevents backed-up meltwater from having nowhere to go. Attic insulation fixes why meltwater is forming at the eaves in the first place. We handle the gutter side. We'll tell you honestly if your situation looks like primarily an insulation problem so you can address it with the right contractor.
Will gutter guards help with ice dams?
Indirectly, yes. Clogged gutters are full of wet debris that freezes into a solid plug, preventing meltwater from draining and accelerating dam formation. Micro-mesh guards that keep gutters debris-free reduce this risk. Guards don't eliminate ice dams caused by attic heat loss, but they remove one contributing factor. We discuss guards as part of every ice dam assessment.
How soon should I address ice dams?
Before freeze season starts — ideally in October or early November. Gutters should be cleaned, slopes confirmed, and heat cable installed before the first hard freeze. Emergency calls during an active ice event are possible but limited in scope; we can address heat cable installation between freeze cycles, but it's significantly harder in below-freezing temperatures.
Can ice dams damage my gutters permanently?
Yes. Heavy ice accumulation in a gutter can pull the gutter away from the fascia — especially if the original install used nails instead of screws. The weight of ice and backed-up snow on a gutter not designed for it can bend the profile, pull hangers, and cause the entire section to sag or detach. We check hanger condition and re-hang any pulled sections as part of the post-season repair service.

BY SERVICE AREA

City-specific questions across the Treasure Valley.

Two top questions per featured city below. The full city-specific FAQ lives on each city’s page — link from each section header.

SERVICE AREA

Boise, ID

Full Boisegutter services page →

Do you serve the entire Boise area, including the Foothills and Bench?
Yes. We work throughout Boise, including the Boise Foothills, North End, Bench, East End, Southeast Boise, West Boise, Warm Springs, and Collister neighborhoods. Foothill homes typically need 6-inch gutters and micro-mesh guards because of pine and fir debris.
How fast can you respond to a gutter issue in Boise?
Most estimates are scheduled within a few business days. Active leaks above doors, windows, or near foundations get prioritized. Call (208) 247-2660 with a brief description and we'll confirm timing.

SERVICE AREA

Meridian, ID

Full Meridiangutter services page →

Do you work on new-construction Meridian homes still under builder warranty?
Yes. We coordinate with the homeowner on what's covered under builder warranty versus what we'd quote separately. If your gutters are still under warranty but you want guards added or downspouts re-routed, we install the new work without disturbing the warrantied components.
Why are my new Meridian gutters already failing?
Most production builders install 5-inch K-style as standard, often with nails instead of hidden-hanger screws and downspouts undersized for the roof area. The system works when new but starts failing around year 5-10 as fasteners loosen and seams stress. Re-hanging with screws and upsizing downspouts is a common Meridian repair call.

SERVICE AREA

Eagle, ID

Full Eaglegutter services page →

Do you work on Eagle custom homes with complex rooflines?
Yes. Most of our Eagle work is custom builds — multi-gable rooflines, steep pitches, copper trim accents, and detached shops or RV barns. Each system is sized to the actual roof area; 5-inch K-style is rarely the right answer on a true custom home.
Can you install half-round gutters on craftsman-style homes?
Yes. Half-round gutters with round corrugated downspouts are common on Eagle craftsman and architectural homes. We carry color options that match historic and custom trim packages.

SERVICE AREA

Nampa, ID

Full Nampagutter services page →

How do I know if my old Nampa gutters can be repaired or need replacing?
If your gutters are sectional (you can see joints every 10 feet), have multiple leaking seams, or are noticeably sagging in several places, replacement usually saves money long-term. If they're seamless aluminum with only one or two isolated leaks, repair is the right call. We give an honest assessment on the estimate.
Do you handle hail damage from spring storms?
Yes. Front-lip dents that affect water flow, broken end caps, and stretched sealant from hail impact are all repairable on aluminum gutters. We document the damage for your insurance claim if you're filing one.

SERVICE AREA

Caldwell, ID

Full Caldwellgutter services page →

Why do gutters seem to pull loose more often in Caldwell?
Wind off the Snake River plain is consistently stronger here than in central Boise, and it stresses every fastener over time. If your gutters were originally installed with nails (common on pre-2010 builds), the nails work loose. The fix is hidden-hanger screws into solid fascia — that's standard on every install we do.
Do you work on historic downtown Caldwell homes?
Yes. Historic bungalows and craftsman homes often have original sectional gutters with corrosion and joint leaks. We can replace with seamless aluminum in a profile (often half-round) that matches the architectural style, and color-match to historic trim.

SERVICE AREA

Kuna, ID

Full Kunagutter services page →

My Kuna home is only 8 years old — why are my gutters already failing?
Production builders typically install 5-inch gutters with nails into the fascia, downspouts sized to the minimum spec, and basic end-cap sealant. All of that has a 5-10 year service life under Treasure Valley conditions. Around year 7-10 is exactly when most builder-grade systems start to need re-hanging, resealing, or replacement.
Do you transition warranty work from the builder?
If your builder warranty is still active, we'll point you back to them first — that's the right call when it's covered. For systems out of warranty (or where the builder's response is slow), we step in and produce a clean repair or replacement quote.

SERVICE AREA

Star, ID

Full Stargutter services page →

Do you install gutters on detached shops and RV barns?
Yes. Most Star properties have at least one detached structure worth gutters — 1,500-3,000+ square foot shops, RV barns with high eaves, or guest casitas. We size and quote them as part of the main house quote or separately.
What gutter profile is right for a custom Star home?
Most Star custom homes need 6-inch K-style at minimum, and half-round on craftsman or architectural builds. We size based on the actual roof area, pitch, and downspout routing — not a default profile.

SERVICE AREA

Garden City, ID

Full Garden Citygutter services page →

Do my Garden City gutters need cleaning more often than other Treasure Valley homes?
Yes, typically. Mature cottonwoods and other deciduous trees along the river and Greenbelt drop more leaf and seed material than inland neighborhoods. Most Garden City homes without gutter guards need three cleanings a year — once in late spring after seed pods, once in mid-fall, and once in late fall after all leaves are down.
Can you work on Garden City cottage homes with original gutters?
Yes. Many cottage homes have 1940s-60s sectional gutters that have outlived their service life. We can replace with seamless aluminum in colors that match historic trim and fascia. Half-round profiles are sometimes the right architectural match.

SERVICE AREA

Hidden Springs, ID

Full Hidden Springsgutter services page →

Is Hidden Springs part of your Boise service area?
Yes. Hidden Springs is technically a Boise sub-area in the foothills — about 15-20 minutes from central Boise. We serve it as part of our standard Ada County footprint with no travel charge.
Do you handle the Hidden Springs HOA architectural review process?
Yes. The Hidden Springs HOA has specific gutter color, profile, and downspout-placement standards. We help you submit the ARC paperwork and carry the common approved colors so the approval-to-install cycle stays short.

SERVICE AREA

Southeast Boise, ID

Full Southeast Boisegutter services page →

Is Southeast Boise a separate service area or part of Boise?
Southeast Boise is a sub-area of Boise that residents search for specifically because of the distinct neighborhood character — Columbia Village, Harris Ranch, Surprise Valley, and the East End. We serve it as part of our standard Boise footprint with no travel charge.
Do you work on Harris Ranch custom homes?
Yes. Harris Ranch customs typically need 6-inch K-style or half-round gutters sized to the actual roof area, with HOA-approved colors and coordinated downspout routing. We submit the ARC paperwork as part of the install when required.

SERVICE AREA

West Boise, ID

Full West Boisegutter services page →

Is West Boise a separate city or a Boise sub-area?
West Boise is a sub-area of Boise — residents and homeowners search the term because the neighborhoods (Maple Grove, Five Mile, Cole/Fairview, Ustick) have their own character distinct from downtown or the Foothills. We serve all of West Boise as part of our standard Boise footprint with no travel charge.
My West Boise home is 25 years old — should I repair or replace gutters?
If the original system has multiple leaking seams, loose fasteners, or visible sagging, replacement is usually more economical than chasing each issue. Most builder-grade 1990s-2000s systems have a 20-30 year service life under Treasure Valley conditions, and you're right at that window.

SERVICE AREA

Middleton, ID

Full Middletongutter services page →

Is there a travel charge from Boise to Middleton?
No. Middleton is within our standard service area — about 35-40 minutes from central Boise. We typically batch Middleton work with Caldwell or Star jobs on the same day.
Do you work on older Middleton farmhouses?
Yes. Older farmhouses often have original sectional gutters from the 1960s-80s that are well past service life. We replace with seamless aluminum sized to the actual roof area and re-route downspouts to keep water off the foundation.

SERVICE AREA

Emmett, ID

Full Emmettgutter services page →

How far is Emmett from Boise, and do you charge extra to drive there?
Emmett is about 30-40 minutes northwest of Boise via Highway 16. It's at the edge of our standard service area — we don't add a separate trip charge, but we batch Emmett work when possible and schedule it accordingly. Be upfront about timing expectations on the call.
Do you work on historic downtown Emmett homes?
Yes. Many downtown homes have 1940s-70s sectional gutters that are well past service life. We replace with seamless aluminum in color options that match historic trim and fascia, with half-round profiles available for craftsman-style homes.

SERVICE AREA

Mountain Home, ID

Full Mountain Homegutter services page →

How far is Mountain Home from Boise, and is there a travel charge?
Mountain Home is about 45 minutes southeast of Boise via I-84. It's at the edge of our standard service area — we don't add a separate trip charge, but we batch Mountain Home work when possible and schedule it accordingly. Be upfront about timing on the call.
Does the high-desert wind really matter for gutter installs?
Yes — Mountain Home is one of the windiest cities we service. Gutters installed with nails (common on older systems) work loose within a few seasons here. Every system we install uses hidden-hanger screws into solid fascia, with extra hangers on long unsupported runs facing the prevailing wind.
