WHAT YOU GET

What is included in a free estimate.

Every estimate covers the same six things — whether you are getting a quote for a $400 repair or a full $3,500 replacement.

  • On-site visit, not a phone quote

We measure your home in person. A real number for your roofline, not a number based on the square footage of your house.

  • Full gutter and downspout inspection

We check every section — seams, hangers, slope, downspout sizing — and flag what is actually failing vs. what still has life left.

  • Written quote, itemized

You walk away with a printed or emailed estimate that lists linear footage, materials, downspouts, accessories, and labor as separate line items.

  • Honest repair-vs-replace assessment

If a $400 repair fixes the problem, we will tell you. We do not push replacement when a section can be salvaged.

  • Ranged numbers before we visit

Want a ballpark first? Run the cost calculator for a low/typical/high range based on your linear footage and service type.

  • Recommendations tied to your house

Pine-needle problems on the Bench. Ice-dam history in the Foothills. Hail history in Nampa. The quote takes your actual conditions into account.

ON THE WALKTHROUGH

What we measure and check.

A real estimate is built off a real walkthrough. Here is what we look at — every visit, every home.

  • Linear footage of every gutter run, not a rounded estimate
  • Downspout count, diameter (2x3 vs 3x4), and outlet position
  • Fascia condition behind existing gutters — rot, soft spots, paint failure
  • Slope and pitch across each run (and where it is wrong)
  • Hidden-hanger spacing and any pull-away sections
  • Debris pattern — pine needles, leaves, seed pods, roof grit
  • Splash zones at downspout terminations and any foundation impact
  • Roof drip-edge interaction with the existing gutter system

WHY WE WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN

Why our estimates are written, not verbal.

Phone quotes are guesses

Anyone quoting your job sight-unseen is either padding the price to be safe or low-balling to win the call. Neither helps you. A real number requires a tape measure on your fascia.

Door-to-door tactics

We do not knock on doors, do not run “today only” pricing, and do not ask for a signature on the spot. If a number is right today, it will be right tomorrow.

Itemized = comparable

Our quotes separate materials, labor, downspouts, and accessories so you can compare us to another contractor line-for-line. That is the only fair way to shop a bid.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a free estimate take?
Most estimates run 20 to 40 minutes on-site. Larger homes (two-story, multiple roof lines, complex valleys) can take up to an hour. You will get the written quote either in-person before we leave or emailed within one business day.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
It helps but is not required. If we can access the exterior of the home, we can measure and inspect. We will call you with anything we need access to (interior of the garage, attic, etc.) and we will email the written quote either way.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. On-site estimates are free across our entire service area. The only time we charge for an assessment is if you need a documented inspection report for an insurance claim — that is a separate paid service and we will be upfront about it before scheduling.
What areas do you provide free estimates in?
All of the Treasure Valley — Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, and Garden City. If you are outside that footprint, call us and we will let you know whether we can still come out.
How soon can you come out?
Most estimates are scheduled within 3 to 7 days. Spring and fall (peak gutter season) can push it slightly. If you have an active leak or storm damage, tell us when you call — we triage urgent visits ahead of routine quotes.
What information should I have ready?
Year your home was built, approximate roof age, whether you have had prior gutter work done, and any recent issues (overflowing in storms, leaks at corners, ice damming). Photos of any specific problem areas help us come prepared with the right parts on the truck.
